NEW YORK, Feb. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Cram Group, a pioneer of application consulting, hosting and software management solutions for the AEC Industry announces a refreshed suite of business driven offerings focused on the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) Industry. Offerings include cloud hosting, software, and services based on The Cram Group's multi award winning successes since 2001.
"Our mindset is not just about our company, or a product, it's about pushing all AEC technology customers, resellers & vendors to understand what cloud means to IT and what it should deliver. We are leading the charge to turn both traditional on-premise and off-premise IT on its head," says Wes Smith, Cloud Executive Officer at The Cram Group. "Consumers have taken control of personal IT and all those consumers are the same people that are now business users. Our AEC Cloud focus is about bringing calm to chaos and enabling these business users without abandoning corporate interests," says Smith.
Throughout 2012, The Cram Group will be rolling out a series of next generation application hosting, software and services for both on premise and off premise use that are geared toward driving the adoption of a simplified version of the NIST Cloud standard.
"Customers have moved past the days of proprietary technologies, all in ones and traditional single tenant IT departments built on high cost human resources. They've also realized its not as simple as moving their problems off premise," says Vijay Jayaram, Vice President, The Cram Group. "Beyond our own business drivers, the way we operate our AEC Cloud solutions is a great example of the operating model required to evolve traditional IT to Cloud IT and deliver the Same or Higher Quality @ the Same or Lower Cost (SOHQ/SOLC)," says Jayaram.
